Jailhouse Rock

Andrew had a great musical performance yesterday. All these musicals always make me tear up. I love my son so much and so happy to see all his accomplishments. He got his report card yesterday. He is doing better in his classroom work, cursive, reading, etc. His teacher says his strong point is math. Not surprising because that was always easy for me and David as well. I see him being a MLB All-Star doing financial work on the side. He says he can't wait to be 18 so he can get all his money out of the stocks and buy video games lol.......

Angels

Yay, baseball season has begun....been to two games so far and had a blast. Being pregnant hasn't slowed me down yet. Too bad I will not be able to go to the All-Star game, if we can get tickets, because I will be one week away from labor and probably really uncomfortable. Well hopefully we have a good season, so far not so great, but we shall see. Go Angels....

ugh

Well I have the Flu. Not fun while being pregnant. I can only have Tylenol. I have discovered Neti Pots, work great to clear the nasal passage. Also using a humidifier. Im on about day 5 of my illness, so hopefully it will end soon.

Sick, Sick, Sick

I woke this morning with a barely there voice. Had to call out of work and am going to the doctor. My throat is so raw and had a hard night sleeping. Hopefully some antibiotics will help. I can feel my ears starting to plug up to. I dont wanna be sick, sick and pregnant is not fun.

Happy Sunday

Well today is Superbowl Sunday. Papa went to a party, I'm not feeling to hot today, and Andrew decided to stay home with me. We cleaned the house, made some food, and we are going to watch a movie together. Sounds like a lovely day to me. I had to run to the store for a few items and wow the place was packed. Made it out alive though. We had some stormy weather yesterday and now today it is absolutely beautiful. Wish I had some strength to get out there, but I'm happy on my couch :). I only have to work 4 days this week, hopefully they will go smoothly. Well hope this day turns out to be a great day, Go Colts.....

Rain, Rain, go AWAY!!!!

Brrr, it's a cold rainy day today. No work so that was a plus. I know it is probably early but I was so excited to look at baby stuff that I decided to register. I registered at Target. They have the cutest baby items there. So hard for me to not just buy it all at the moment. I can't wait for this baby to come out. Went to the Dr. last Monday and did and ultrasound because I was having some cramping. From what the Dr. and I saw, it looks like a boy. YAY! Not positive though, I go back on the 23rd to radiology to have another look inside the womb to make sure everything is developing correctly and hopefully have a better look to see if in fact it is a boy. As far as the cramping, Dr. didn't see anything wrong and thinks it is probably just ligiment pain from the uterus. I've been back to work since my vacation. My first day went ok, now for the rest of the 168 days left i hope they go smooth too. Andrew is still not thrilled about baby. Since he will be unable to come to radiology to see baby the dr. said i can take him to my next visit and she will let him play dr with the sonogram machine they have in the offices...he was sorta happy I guess lol. Andrew is doing great in school. I recieved a note from his teacher that he will be accepting an award in chapel this Monday, I am so proud and excited. He loves math, hates cursive (even though he is really good at it), and loves being 1st at everything.

Re-do

Finally got around to reupholstering my 15yr dining set. Here are a pic of the before and after of the chairs. I'm so pleased with the results, my hand is so sore though from all the staple gunning. David did the painting.

Only 175 days to go...only???

Finally a morning I have waken without feeling starving and have to vomit. Now if I can get rid of the last symptom...the dreaded headache. I am 15 weeks today. My baby is now about 4 inches long and weighs about 2 and 1/2 ounces, about the size of an apple. I have yet to feel any movement. The lungs are developing and the baby moves fluid thru the body. The eyes are still fused shut but can sense light.

I had sort of a rough night last night thinking about my mother. After a lot of praying, crying, and venting I feel a little better this morning. My vacation is sadly coming to an end. I am not looking forward to going back to my stressful job. My motivation is that i will get to be on maternity leave in about 6 months, hopefully that time will fly. Today is Friday so I hope to have a fun weekend with the boys if I am still feeling well. I know Andrew is excited to go to the snow this year so maybe we can check that out.

Lab Results

Well finally got all my bloodwork done and so far so good. All the results look good. Been having some abdominal uncomforts, as Carol would say "its probably just gas" lol. I go to the dr this coming Monday so i will talk about all my concerns. I just hate feeling uncomfortable and so tired. My two weeks vacation has almost come to an end, I don't want to go back to work :(

Mental Health Disabilities

They really suck!!!!!!!! I pray for those that suffer with behavioral health problems and the families that take care of them. I know from personal experience that this is very hard and stressful. I hope one day they will find a cure for these mental diseases and cancer and aids and all other things that tear families apart. God has comforted me thus far and I have faith He will keep me going strong as hard as it may be.

Congratulations

So happy to announce that my baby sister and her husband are having a baby. I'm so excited that we will have children close in age. I hope she has an easy pregnancy and doesn't get too sick. She is now 4 weeks pregnant, 10 weeks behind me. Oh what fun holidays we shall have now. I know they will make great parents and are super excited. Congrats to the Moras.......xoxo

Blogging....

This blog is mainly for my grandmother since she does not Facebook. I hope this can help to keep her informed of what is going on in our lives more easily for her and keep her up to date on my pregnancy since she is so far away....

I am currently on my 13th week of pregnancy and the sickness is finally letting up alittle. I am still super tired, but excited to get the baby stuff going. I'm ready to SHOP!!!!!

My next dr appt is on Feb 1st. Nothing exciting on this visit. Hopefully the one after we will find out if it is a girl or a boy.
